Cocktails & Furrytails The San Diego Animal Support Foundation is proud to announce that they will be the beneficiaries of an exclusive LGBT Fundraiser to be held at the Dog House Bar & Grill on Saturday, August 24, 2014. The first annual Cocktails & Furrytails Event is being hosted by philanthropists from the gay community who are bringing together their colleagues and neighbors to make an impact on homeless animals in need from our shelters and rescue agencies. The FUNdraiser will be held at the Dog House Bar & Grill, 3515 5th Avenue, San Diego, CA 92103, on Saturday August 24th from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will include raffles, prizes and contests! According to the event's organizer, Ed Ruegg, "This isn't just any fundraiser...this is a LGBT fundraiser, and an opportunity to show what our community can do when they join together. We are proud of the economic impact we can make on local charities!" Tickets for the event can be purchased in advance online at www.sdshelters.org. Tickets are $35, and include a free drink coupon if purchased in advance. Free hot and cold appetizers will also be served, as well as specialty drinks and happy hour prices. 100% of the evening's proceeds will go to the SDASF. The San Diego Animal Support Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, was chosen for their daily efforts to help abandoned animals in more than 35+ rescue agencies and animal shelters in their network.
