Letters of Appreciation

Lucky

Hi Dar, here are the most recent pics of Sammy, now Lucky. He landed in a great home in La mesa, thanks to you and all your dedication to finding homes for these deserving dogs. Sammy is the dog who was hit by a car and rescued by good Samaritans, he had two broken legs.

Thanks again

Becky and the furry gang.

Sammy

Good morning Darlene,

So, one week ago this morning you showed Sammy as POW on channel 10. Later in the day you sent me contact info for several people who were interested. Tuesday evening, the (new adopters) came to meet Sammy. Wednesday morning I received a call that they wanted to adopt him. Wednesday evening, (they) came over to finalize the paperwork and pay the adoption fee. Yesterday morning (Sunday) I delivered Sammy to his new home in Ramona , where he will live with (his new family), along with their chocolate Labrador and their cat and their turtle. Very nice people, and a wonderful house and yard for the doggies. Sammy looked very happy cruising around the huge yard with Bon-Bon. Two tails held high and wagging happily when we left him there yesterday.

This was a direct result of his appearance on Channel 10 last week. Thank you do much for what you do, and for doing it so well Darlene! We love you and Sammy and I both thank you! Please also thank the people at Channel 10 and let them know they contributed to this success... especially the camera person who did such a great job of capturing Sammy on TV when Sammy wasn't being too cooperative about looking at the camera.

Update On Axle

Hi Darlene,

Just to give the foundation an update on what a wonderful service you guys are doing by taking the animals on tv. We placed the overweight Rottweiler "Axle" last Friday. North County Shelter even thought we would have him for months, but thanks to the right person seeing him on your segment he went to the perfect home. Were the gentleman is going to continue him on his thyroid medication, strict diet, and gradual exercise. So, please this along to the group and to the people at Fox.

Thank you.

Pit Bull Rescue

Hi Darlene,

On behalf of Pit Bull Rescue San Diego, I just wanted to say THANK YOU for featuring JayJay on the morning news a few weeks back for us. Because of his television exposure he is being adopted into his forever home today by a wonderful woman who visited the FOX6 website and watched his pet segment clip -- it was love at first sight!

Please let everyone at FOX6 and the San Diego Animal Support Foundation know that we greatly appreciate your life-saving work. You truly make a difference in the lives of homeless pets in San Diego.

Sincerely,
Jenny Ludovissy

Sadie, the 13 year old chihuahua

Darlene, we can't believe it!!! After the Saturday showing of this little old Sadie girl, we got 13 calls!!

I am starting now to call people back with details and surely we will find a good home for her.

You must have a huge audience. I missed the show and am cussing myself out for that but she made a hit and we thank you forever.
